Looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam? The NH Hotels are popular and widespread in Amsterdam. And for good reason! The collection of hotels offer impressive amenities and competitive prices, so it is no surprise it makes my list of top places to stay in Amsterdam.
NH Hotel Amsterdam Zuid Location
The Amsterdam Zuid property we stayed at was a bit far from the city center: a one-hour walk (which we did happily because we are New Yorkers who love walking and the weather was perfect). Nevertheless, the hotel was still within a reasonable vicinity of lots of activities, as well as a 7-minute walk from Amstel Park.
NH Hotel Room Amenities
Albeit a bit far from the city center, what the property loses in distance makes up for in-room design and abundant space, spectacular customer service, and a killer breakfast buffet included in the price.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a thorough breakfast offering from a hotel before, actually! Moreover, the public bus to the city center and main bus station stops right in front of the hotel, and the hotel offers bicycles for a daily rental fee.
NH Hote Guest Room
The included wifi worked perfectly (something very important to me) and the ensuite bathroom was modern and looked brand new. The bed itself was thick and comfortable and we received ample offerings for clothing storage and work space. There was also a heated drying rack that we found most useful during the seldom rainy days.
