Best Places to Visit in the USA during March

Washington, DC 

If you’re looking for a truly magical US experience in March, then Washington DC is a great place to start. The National Cherry Blossom Festival takes place in late March and early April, when the city’s iconic cherry blossom trees burst into bloom, painting the city in shades of pink and white. It’s a breathtaking sight to behold and one that draws crowds from all over the world.

Aside from the stunning cherry blossoms, the weather in Washington DC during March is mild, with temperatures averaging around 50-60°F (10-16°C). While it’s not quite warm enough to wear shorts and t-shirts, it’s still comfortable enough to explore the city without feeling too chilly.

Washington DC is a place that’s steeped in history and culture, making it a popular destination year-round. However, the cherry blossoms add an extra layer of beauty and charm to the city in March, making it an especially enchanting time to visit.

For sunshine and natural beauty, check out San Diego, CA. The weather is perfect for enjoying the city’s many outdoor attractions, like the beaches, parks, and gardens. And if you’re a nature lover, you won’t want to miss the stunning Flower Fields in Carlsbad, which bloom in late March and early April.

You can also visit the famous San Diego Zoo, explore the city’s many museums and art galleries, or take a stroll through the historic Gaslamp Quarter. And of course, no trip to San Diego would be complete without enjoying some of the city’s famous Mexican food, like fish tacos or carne asada.

Miami, FL 

Miami, Florida is a city that comes alive with festivals and events all year long! March is the Miami International Film Festival, which showcases films from around the world and attracts filmmakers, actors, and film lovers from all over.

Maui, HI 

Maui is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Hawaii and for good reason. The island boasts beautiful beaches, stunning landscapes, and a laid-back, welcoming culture. If you’re a surfer or if you’re wanting to learn how to surf, then March is the perfect time to visit Maui, before the summer crowds start to arrive.

Maui is known for its excellent surf spots, with some of the best waves in the world. From Honolua Bay to Lahaina Harbor, there are plenty of areas to catch a wave and enjoy the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Pacific Ocean.
